Inverter is DC to AC converter. SPWM (Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) technique is used in the inverter to reduce the harmonic content in the output of the converter. Converting DC to AC by comparing sine wave as reference wave and triangular wave as carrier wave, this comparison is achieved by creating blocks in the MATLAB/SIMULINK and it is fed to the ATMEGA-328. This model is implemented using ARDUINO and MATLAB/SIMULINK software based on computer simulation. MATLAB is effective tool to analyze a PWM inverter and ARDUINO simplifies hardware requirements. Inverters are widely used for industrial applications such as UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply), used to convert DC electricity from solar panel or fuel cells to AC electricity
