Responsibilities


  • Asst.Scientist have the overall responsibilities of the day to day activities of analytical sciences and calibration.
    In coordination with Jt. Director, I ensure the smooth functioning of different labs as per the quality systems established. Also discharges the duties of monitoring assignments and acts as site incharge. Officiates guiding and allocation of job to analyst. Identifies and organizes training programmes to fresh entrants. Identifies the training needs of analysts.
    Monitors the laboratory activities which include checking of data entries, calculation in data sheets/raw data recorded ensuring that results are reported after following SOPs.
    And authorized signatories to sign test/calibration certificates. Also responsible for updating of standards, maintenance and calibration of testing and measuring equipment, maintenance of quality records, testing and certifying the samples received for analysis as per standard
Achievements
  • Good knowledge of Analysis of effluents from BEL (Bharath Electronics Ltd Bangalore) and gained experience while working as analyst and coordinator in lake development programme of Bangalore lakes.
    Worked as inspector for Quality monitoring of Export Grapes (Agmark and APEDA certification) also in Stove inspection project conducted by Tamilnadu state Government. Approved chemist for AGMARK certification
    Was responsible for inspection and validation of Quality control of process equipments at reliance life science, Mumbai.
    Taxol (Anticancer Drug) Optimization of growth Conditions for the product metabolities) viaTissueCulture and endophytic Fungi fermentation. Endophytic Fungi
    Selected as a Board member in Karpagam University. Board of Studies in Microbiology (UG and PG) and Virology and Immunotechnology (PG) for the academic year 2014-2015. Evaluation of thesis.
