    Achievement Summary:
    • The project involves development of Realtime Debug Monitor for embedded systems. The responsibilities included GUI development and Multithreading module development for the tool. The technologies used are C#, .Net, VC++-2008, Technical Release 1, STL, MFC. The GUI would interact with the hardware using CAN, LIN 2.0, KLINE automotive protocols. The embedded hardware would consist of object files that are parsed for symbols. These symbols are watched in real time through the multi threaded GUI. The GUI is developed in MFC and C# Win Forms.

The development of these CAD products has actually become a Corporate Case Study of application of ICT into traditional carpet weaving industry in India.

    • Active-X Controls - ColorNET Web Control, AutoDrape Web Control, and Dye-Plan Web Control. These Active-X Controls to load and process bitmaps like sofas, beds, curtains, carpets and generate HTML code from VC++ environment and changes colors of bitmap. The colors that make up the bitmap are counted and shown in the HTML format report. The following functionalities were developed to support textile CAD/CAM functionalities like Tiling of bitmap patterns that are used for rendering, restoring the associated patterns to the scene on changing perspective, developing of Help Instruction window, Undo, Revert of Color change of Image, Developing Color Band for Color library, Get Nearest Color Algorithm. The Active-X Controls provides the user with tools for rendering the various portions of the image with pre-specified patterns of bitmap. The controls also updates customer usage of the online tools by Connecting to Databases on Remote Web Server

    • CAD Tool for Autotex2000® product. This application is a 2-D wireframe model consisting of set of tools to manipulate the Grid structure. This grid is then used for rendering of images in various Textiles CAD / CAM softwares. The functionalities that are developed like Drag-n-Drop based Grid creation, Regular and Irregular, Selection of Grid nodes, Free movement of points, Free movement of Grid rows and columns, Skew (Whole, Row & Column Wise), Tilt (Whole, Row & Column Wise), Squeeze-n-Stretch (Whole, Row & Column Wise), Free Rotation, Corridor effect, Select partial and show/hide, Zooming and Scrolling of Grid along with image, Generating parallel splines.

    • ColorNET® Application. This application provides the visual effect of changing colors in Carpets. The application supports the Carpet Industry in providing real time visual effect to designers. It also provides the users the option to send orders by emails. The following Graphical User Interfaces were implemented:- Color Library and Color Palette interface, Thumbnail Designs in Large, Medium, and Small shapes- interface, Print Order Form design, Selected Image View interface, Title View interface
