Elimination of Defects in Automotive HVAC Fluid Line
Student at TEC-Thangavelu Engineering College
Feb-2018 to Mar-2018
Completed final project at Hanon Automotive Systems, a (OEM) manufacturer of HVAC & other automobile modules etc,. Designed a mechanical stopper pin for the torque wrench used in the sub assembly station of HVAC Fluid Line. Our innovative design completely eliminates the defect caused due to excess torque produced by wrong orientation of the torque wrench by the worker & also prevents the reverse side assembly while assembling the HVAC Fluid Line. Result : Our innovative design reduced the monthly rejection from 7748 ppm to 0 ppm , Eliminated the scrap & rework which leads to zero defect product which increases the pro t of about 4.86 Lacs/annum.

Design & Fabrication Of Gravity Powered Light
Student at TEC-Thangavelu Engineering College
Jan-2017 to Mar-2017
Designed a Gravity Powered Light which works by combining kinetic and potential energy. Coordinated as a team & fabricated it successfully through connecting an elevated weight filled with rocks or sand to a pulley system that slowly powers a generator as the weight falls to the ground. Result : Gravity Light replaced the kerosene lamp & saves the environment by eliminating the CO2 emission.
