Multiphase flow is required for many industrial processes in various industries. Due to the complexity of multiphase flow, development of reliable analysis tool is difficult. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has been an established tool for flow analysis in the field of single phase flow for more than 20 years but has only started to become established in the multiphase field as well. To be able to use CFD in a meaningful way it was important to investigate, understand and validate many models offered in commercial codes. The purpose of this project is to find out the distribution of Ammonia-water mixture which is in multiphase(i.e. sat-liquid & sat-vapour), through piping network connected to a battery of finned air-cooled heat exchanger operating at 7 bar pressure using ANSYS Fluent software . The aim of the simulations was to predict the mass flow distribution in each outlet of the piping network. This was done by systematically changing parameters and validating results inansys
