Guide Details: Dr.G.R.Selokar, Professor and Registrar, SSSUTMS, Sehore, M.P. Work Details: In present research work, the response factors such as cutting force, vibration, and surface roughness are going to investigate for the hard turning of AISI M2 Tool Steel. This research work is sponsored by Birla Precision Technologies Tools Ltd. Nashik.
Jun-2014 to Apr-2015
Guide Details: Dr.R.D.Palhade, Professor and ME Co-ordinator, S.S.G.M.C.E, Shegaon. ME Project Details: M.E project sponsored by Indian Tools Ltd. Nashik. The duration of project was 29/06/2014 to 1/02/2015.The project aim was to improve Productivity and Quality of CNC turning operation for High Speed Steel (M2) using Taguchi’s Method and ANOVA. Conclusions of Project Work: • For simultaneous optimization of surface roughness (Ra) and material removal rate (MRR) nose radius is the most significant parameter affecting the performance followed by the feed rate. • The recommended levels of CNC turning parameters when multi-response characteristics (MRR and Ra) considered are cutting speed = 300 m/min, feed rate = 0.15 mm/rev, depth of cut = 0.75mm and insert nose radius = 1.2mm.
Jun-2009 to Apr-2010
Guide Details: Prof.K.A.Saner, Assistant Professor, R.C.P.I.T., Shirpur. Conclusions of Project Work: • The internal as well as external threading on metal bars and pipes can be done easily with help of microcontroller based thread cutting automation. • The reduction in time for starting the production and also it gives high productivity, high accuracy and reduction in operational fatigue.
