  • Supervision of centralized Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable function including credit control and management of receivables, for African legal entities having multicurrency and country environment (team leading role).

    • Central AP & AR: Migration/Transition handing of AP AR function from local African territories to Dubai HQ for centralized accounting & control.
    • Monitoring AP AR controls: Invoice approval, PO approval, 3-way matching, data entry controls, Match to budgets, customer discounts monitoring, review of AR ageing, reconciliations with Suppliers/customers.
    • Recognition of sales per IFRS: From Revenue recognition per trade terms with customers to debtor’s collections & bad debt accounting, Special transactions accounting under hire purchase, leases and customized payment plans.
    • Credit control,Month end closing, management reporting • Handling statutory annual audits
