  • ? Business Head for the profit center. Reporting to the Managing Director of the group called ALOSCO Holdings which has 07 companies in its fold.
    ? Handling monthly revenue of 10 million USD.
    ? Developed GALCO into No.1 Logistics Company in East Africa.
    ? Into Transportation, Container Business and trading. We basically provide services for in-house clients and also to the external clients.
    ? Current fleet strength of 300 trucks & trailers and 50 Canters. Operating in the entire East Africa region.
    ? Inland Container Depot with a monthly throughput of 6000 TEUs, serving inland and transit customers.
    ? Management of Automobile Yard with a capacity of 2000 units.
    ? Responsible for the Operations, Customer Service, SLAs, Profit Center Management, HR, Business Development, OSHA, Statutory compliance, Maintenance, Purchases, PR etc.
    ? Vision to have a fleet of 500 trucks by 2015 close.

We assist Caterpillar in their out bound logistics, Production line functions, Warehouse Management and procurement. End to end responsibility of the facility including profit centre operations, Production planning and execution, recruitment, training, interaction with the Caterpillar Hierarchy, Business Development, Procurement, Budgetary control, Vendor Development. Leading a team of 97 people including 10 managerial positions. Finance Manager, HR Manager, Operations Manager, Quality Officer and Assistant Operational Manager report to this position. Directly reporting to the Managing Director (Country Head).
    ? Responsible for all the purchases and procurements related to the operation and the facility.
    ? Responsible for the warehouse operations related to the Product Distribution Center.
    ? Responsible for profitable operations of the facility.
    ? Responsible for providing seamless supply chain solutions for caterpillar outbound SCM. Proposal for Lead Logistics Provider concept under consideration by the customer.

    ? Was invited to Belgium, by Caterpillar to deliver lecture on the Best Practices at Chennai Shipping Floor. The Chennai shipping floor was rated as the best among 42 Caterpillar Product Distribution Centers by Mr. Greg Jansen (VP for PDCs, CAT)
