Hello Guys,
Today I would like to talk about the combination of two very vast technologies, Machine Learning and Internet of Things(IoT).
Let us first talk about IoT, it is the technology which connects the devices we use in daily life to the internet, we can simply say that this technology enables our devices to communicate with each other over the internet. On the other hand, Machine Learning is the technology which enables our machines to take the smart decisions on their own by processing and relating the previously stored data.
You must have heard of a very cool project HOME AUTOMATION, it is based on IoT. In this, you can control the devices of your home through your mobile device. If we use only use IoT, we have to control the devices. But if we start using Machine learning along with IoT, devices will learn and take decisions with the help of past data on their own.
Take for an example, when you sleep in the night you want the temperature of your A.C at 18 degrees, after two hours 24 degrees and A.C must be shut down after another two hours, you have to do on your own if you use only IoT, but through the machine learning machine will gather your data analyse the pattern and work accordingly. Such an environment would be considered as SMART HOME.
