About
The beginning of my professional career was a background based on audio and sound engineering since my specialization is Acoustics. 8 years ago, when I came back from a SONOLOGY Course in the Netherlands, Ericsson contacted me in order to join the graduates program, after 3 months of introduction, empowerment and managing, I started the Cricket Communications Project which was a 1st and 2nd level operation VoIP network, based on Mexico City. 6 months later I became the Team Lead of 6 persons.

  • I'm currently managing different projects for Innomius, working as a Project Manager I’m taking care of Team Leadership for E-commerce, Micro-sites and Mobile Development. I'm handling a group of 16 people which includes developers (Front End and Back End), Testers and Data Analyst, effective communication is a key part of our daily activities. SCRUM and AGILE have been implemented in a combination of senior management presentation, reports and face to face gatherings. So far there are 3 different projects for an airline where I’m taking care of managing; Cloud Infrastructure (Rackspace and AWS), Automated testing (UI, Front End and Back End with JAVA, JAVAScript, REST and SOA) as well as a new app development for internal services (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and Rancher). Beyond our relationship with airlines, there are several projects for Oilfield, Retail and Entertainment where I'm contributing with strong management, digital transformation strategies and Product Software

  • The main focus on CITI Bank as a Program Manager was the Alignment for ACCIVAL (Brokerage House). I managed 2 Project Managers for the Database migration on several Apps as well as the infrastructure provisioning, Storage assignation (Virtualization & Clouding), VDI (Virtual Desktop Interface) for UAT & DEV environments and finally, decommission of remaining equipment and Legacy solutions for Delivery of the Reforma 398 Building.
Achievements
  • It’s was a really big challenge to implement an effective risk control based on configuration management as there were several teams involved in the release and decommission processes, 2nd Phase on this Program started as the DB segregation (SQL and ORACLE Services) where the team performed a complete release plan for each Business Unit GCB (Global Consumer Banking) and ICG (Institutional Clients Group). An extra rol that I took care, was the performing of Service Delivery Functions with Program Management responsibilities since the background that I had in IT, works for NETWORK, WIFI, CLOUDING, and BIG DATA. As PLANVIEW is the standard platform to report projects, I implemented AGILE and LEAN into SPRINT meetings with each Product Owner.

  • I was hired by NTT to achieve CITIBanamex operational objectives with effective risk and issue control, over the first 6 months of the roll I took care of Database migration for BATCH applications which impacts ICG (Institutional Clients Group), final customers. I can remark this as a victory since the teams begin development with insecurity and ended up with great confidence in my work and personnel management.

  • During this period I combine responsibilities with Service Delivery management to provide infrastructure services on both DATA Center (Jardines DC and Quere´taro DC). During decommissioning procedure for the LEGACY infrastructure in ACCIVAL (Brokerage House) I was invited to sign directly with CITI. SCRUM and AGILE were my weapons of choice to report and share results with my manager.

  • As a Softtek PMO Advisor, I was in charge of the Project for AVPN & MPLS migration on the 4 plants and 2 depots for Grupo BIMBO. GB got their premises in the UK and the local contract changed, from BELL Canada to ATT on a Master Agreement. For the institution, I had the option to report on any format that I want and I move forward to implement SCRUM for most of the deliverables and advances on the project.
Achievements
  • It was a challenging role since I was an advisor, so I want to remark my leadership and guidance since most of the teams to handle were out of Mexico City. I consider it was a successful strategy for any presentation with my Director due to the short time of period that I had. Finally, I took care of Business Negotiation for service provisioning, SLAs review, and Final Sign Off with the client. Part of the Project involves a series of management for local and external teams on Network areas, BISO (Business Information Security Officer), Operational Services and Service Delivery.

  • Working with TICKETMASTER where I was hired to upgrade Network, Security & Virtualization services for both DATA CENTERS (TRIARA & KIO) was quite a risk as the project has a duration of 5 months. I developed and strategy to change Servers, Routers, Switches, and ASA equipment's that TM gets from CISCO.
Achievements
  • Daily activities included a dimension for Data Base management and Application manager requirement for operation support. I had a team of 8 persons working on network engineer, IT Help Desk support and Development. As I was reporting directly to the IT Director, part of the responsibilities includes a detail presentation with senior management on the Monthly advance. I consider this step in my career as the beginning of my SCRUM organization report.

Achievements
  • One of the biggest projects that I'm proud to mention was the PBX Migration as well as the carrier change, it was an 8-month project where FOX Sports aligned voice standards which results on the service movement from CISCO to AVAYA. As a part of a global program, the 350 Volp-lines have migrated from a CALL MANAGER to UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS SOLUTIONS. The second phase of the project connects both offices (Polanco & Perife´rico) into 1 unified unit.

  • The main achievement on the position was the consolidate response as a team on every outage reported to 1st and 2nd level, our SLAs were achieved for around 8 months during my command.
