  • Working in a TV measurement industry and validating large sets of data everyday using 3 sigma limits and other methods by studying different variables and control groups at micro level.

    • Resolving queries on daily basis raised by broadcasters and media agencies with reliable and precise inferences to mitigate their concerns with respect to their own channel or other channels and programming content.

Statistical analysis of financial data using ARCH and GARCH model

A Statistical analysis was conducted on the financial data comprising of the closing Stock prices of ACC and Infosys. Suitable models for the data namely ARCH/GARCH model was selected. From the available data the future value, predicted value and the forecast values were calculated. The data was also checked for its goodness of fit i.e. how a well a selected model was suitable for the data. This analysis was done by using R software.
