The College App GEU Dec, 2014 –May,2015
The project is an android application that provides many good features to a university, college or any other academic institution to share information with students, faculties and even outsiders. It provides information about the institution, including its location on google map, student area where students can find new updates(both common as well as departmental), rss feed reader, Grievance cell and login for admins to make updates and many more features with proper caching techniques and clean UI.
Used php for server side scripting and MySQL as database.
Java is used at backend and frontend is designed using XML.

The project provides the followoing facilities: signup and login for users and login for administrator(s). Admin(s) can upload or remove products, can view messages or queries sent by customers, manage the products ordered by the customers. Admin can also reset his password. User can view and buy products or add them to his/her cart.
Used J2EE for backend with DB2 as database.
At the front end HTML 5, CSS 3, Javascript and JQuery was used.
