• Working as a developer for American Family-AD FB Development.
• Analyzing various RDBMS data sources (Oracle, DB2).
• Generating metadata, preparing Oracle stored procedure to operate on metadata stored in Oracle.
• Writing unix shell scripts for the framework to implement Sqoop, Hive & PIG scripts, processing.
• Loading the data files to HDFS landing zone using Sqoop.
• Cleansing landing zone data using PIG.
• Storing cleansed data to Hive by various ingestion pattern, segregating secure & non-secure data into different HDFS locations & hive tables
• Implementing error logging from unix scripting.
