Responsibilities
  • Project Intern, worked under guidance of a senior Instrumentation Project Manager.
    Studied and understood the concepts and methodology involved in water supply systems.
    Studied the concepts and working principles of Instruments employed for the same task, installed them on site.
    Studied the automation and control methodology for the employed instruments, Automation tool used was SCADA, InTouch Wonderware.
    Carried out the wire laying, connecting wires from instruments to PLC junction boxes, tagging them, regular checks for proper operation.
    Developed a small loop on SCADA involving the above mentioned instruments, automated them using Scripts and prepared a Graphic User Interface for easy understanding and troubleshooting.
    Carried out the documentation and prepared detailed report for the same.

  • Summer Intern, worked under guidance of a senior scientific officer.
    Studied the instrumentation employed in a power generation plant, at Nuclear Recycle Group, BARC.
    Activities involved regular visits to site under construction, understanding the concepts, working principles of the instruments used.
    Studied Instruments' installation methodology, problems encountered in actual installation of the same, carried out the operations.
    Studied and developed a sample DCS controlled loop for controlling the instrument in the same site.
    Carried out the preparation of documents and report for the same.
