The gut microbione was explored from cloacal samples of 5 Indian migratory birds. The Microbial diversity was determined by both Culture independent and culture dependent methods. In culture independent method 16S RRNA sequencing was carried out inorder to identify the isolates. The diversity was determined by Shannon and Simpson's index. In culture dependent method, standard plate count was performed. The antibiotic pattern of microorganisms isolated from cloacal samples were observed against 12 antibiotics.
