It's depends on interest and requirement of the students, I have just seen that non-science background student also aware of programing languages and they are really good coder also. hmm but you can say that in IT sector firm they are only hire those students which are from science back ground i.e. having PCM in +2, but if you have talent they you can job in any company.br /For the commerce and art students I just wanted to say that programming languages like cpp, java, python, etc. are the languages which understand by a computer.
