Radiant heat can be removed with copper and water?
Hi Question please. We have engine in an engine box. The exhaust manifold is 550deg C and is heating up the engine box air. If we ran copper pipes above, and along the side (but not underneath) of the exhaust manifold (not touching it) - and ran 15deg C water through the copper pipe, would this reduce the engine box air temp. My assumption is the heat would rise and get taken away through the copper/water - or am I way off? Thanks

Your assumption is right, the heat will be transferred through the copper pipes.
