single phase line called 240v while 3 phase 440v . why?

Is it one phase count neutral?

single phase line is 90 degree the three phase line is 120 degree out of phase since three phase wire can be represented by two ways star and Delta while Delta connection has no netural bt star connection has neutral three phase line is nothing but a 3 single phase line the single phase line is used for domestic use and three phase line is used in industrial application
