GST is a Revolution Happening in India and as we are on SAP for us the Exercise is Complex as well as very Expensive. We invited Quotes, finalized Consultants and started project. GST also changed our 2 Tier landscape to 3 Tier and hence it was an Herculean Job for our IT team to upgrade the Landscape, SAP Version EHP 5 to 7 and Server Hardware. GST implementation is now at its Final Stage but we are foreseeing Transition and Post Go-Live to become another Project in itself. Also GSTIn is talking about ASP and GSP services where as IT Management need to Invite Quotes and finalize but the overall GST is becoming so Expensive that we have decided to do the ASP work ourselves by Tying up with a GSP who are Quoting INR 1000 Per GSTIN per Month. This System is further connected to SAP where the Invoices are generated for Transaction and then sent across to Partner for Payments if he has used Credit and in terms of PG he does not need to do any Payments but we then pass on ORC (Commission) to Partner because in Case of PG we charge End user value.

The Requirement was to give Sandisk Customer a Realtime Experience of their Services from India. We designed Pages on our .Net Portal by Consuming the web Services of Sandisk Service CRM of Oracle RightNow Cloud and connecting their SAP server to our SAP Server through AS2 interface. The communication between our CRM and our SAP was patched up with JDBC Connector. The Complete Solution was designed, Developed and implemented successfully in 3 Months with Redundancy and a Rapid Connect Architecture on Real time across Platforms. Customer Service is one of the important Business process in our industry and we had our own developed software on Visual Basic with SQL, this S/W supported the process for 10 years but with the increasing demand of Business we decided to connect the process to SAP and hence implemented the CS module in SAP. Speed requirements of the business process could not meet the stringent processes of SAP and hence I evaluated the solution and suggested to develop a portal using .net which will serve the business requirements and connect it to SAP using PI to justify the Management requirements to draw a single balance sheet with impact on Inventory and PnL. We conferred both the Portal Development and PI implementation project on Godrej.

We were on ECC 5.0 with Oracle 10g as the Database, at that time being the IT head of the company and also owner of the Business processes I suggested the Management the need to upgrade the SAP to ECC 6.0 with Enhance Pack 5.0 and Migration of Database to Sybase. With complete justification and a working of 2 months we conferred the project to Godrej and within a time frame of 3 months we upgraded and migrated the complete Landscape as planned. The major Achievement of this Project was that this was one of the First type of such Migration for which SAP invited me as a Speaker to Spain at Sapphire Event.
