-To performing simulations like linear static, harmonic, fatigue and explicit analysis on bicycles, tube drawing, metal forming and truck body. -To validate the FEA results -Prototype testing -Report preparation
Achievements
• Dassault Systems Certified CATIA V6 Associate for Part Design. • Secured Meritorious Award from VIT University Chennai Campus. • Secured award for attendance from VIT University Chennai Campus. • Attended national workshop on Digital Transformation in Indian Industry organized by VIT Chennai in association with IEEE
In this project various types of truck frames were simulated for different load cases. Analytical calculation was done to validate the simulated results.
• The objective of the project was to formulate a new FE simulation methodology (Static and Dynamic- Harmonic) and compare the simulated results with the laboratory test results to validate the proposed methodologies. • In this study unified harmonic based fatigue evaluation technique was developed for a bicycle frames which was more reliable than linear static solution. • Using this harmonic analysis technique a good correlation was found between prototype testing and FEA analysis. Hence this helped to reduce development time. Tools used- Hypermesh, Ansys workbench.
In this project 3D model of connecting rod was created using solidworks, ANSYS workbench is used for the static load analysis. Different material study was done for connecting rod.
Experimental setup of flat plate solar panel using heat pipe was manufactured &thermal performance was evaluated. Behaviour of heat pipe for the application of flat plate solar heater was studied.
