I love reading and it's my passion, so in this way you may call me a book-lover. I have read uncountable books. Asking a book lover 'what is his fav bk' is same as asking parent 'what is his fav child' That's why, this quest is invalid. Right¿ (atleast for me it is)
My favourite book is Silence and Storm series written by Rob Thier. This is a book written by a British author describing about the local thinking of the people in UK in 1800's. Girls were always rushed to look after a suitable suitor and marry themselves. In that era, a girl from a middle class family decides to work for a earning. She dresses up like a man and starts working. The boss is always rude and cold. They both take many dangerous journies together and then fall in love with each other.
Jane Eyre penned down by Charlotte Bronte is my all time favourite book. I read this book during my graduation as a part of my syllabus but as soon as I read the book I fell in love with this book. This is one of the best romance novels along with the gothic element. Jane Eyre, the female protagonist is definitely my favourite character, a strong woman rare at that time and another favourite character is Bertha Mason, the madwoman in the attic. I loved the book so much that I even read the critical essays that come along in the worldview edition of the novel. Along with critical essay, I love the other reading associated with the book i.e. The Madwoman in the Attic: The Woman Writer and the Nineteenth-Century Literary Imagination written by Sandra Gilbert and Susan Gubar. This book is a feminist view of atypical Victorian society.
'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho is my favourite. Paulo Coelho is an excellent author and the same is reflected in the novel, it is about a boy who chases his dreams and at the end learnt a lesson that the real treasure is only at the place where our heart directs and where we are happy.
