  • Well, according to me , i can give the answer of this question in both the aspects .Well for some people it is not appropriate, while for some it is appropriate . Firstly i am taking it in a positive sense. So, according to me as well,Liquor ban is appropriate .Well,as we all know that the consumption of liquor is injurious to health .Mainly ,it  affects the person in all way mentally, socially, economically, physically etc..Those who are addicted to this. Most of the problems are faced by their families Excessive consumption can also leads to death .Addiction of liquor is one of the worse addiction .A person loses each and everything in this addiction even his/her life . Now , as it has a lot of disadvantages, then who would say that no liquor ban is not appropriate .Well, think from drunker's/liquor addictor's perspective,Well suppose if you have addiction of something, then it is really very hard to remove that addiction .Even it can also affect mentally , physically. So,those who are regular drunker's it is not easy to accept the liquor ban!!

  • I do not support the ban of any items be it Liquor, beef, pork, drugs, etc but having said that i have true sympathy and i totally agree with the motive of the Bihar government which says that "They have banned in request of Womens and children",which is totally justifiable as mens especially in rural areas tend to drink and behave badly with children and women and even beat them up in most cases.
Now comiong to states loss. As lot of taxes comes from liquor, state will get less revenue. But it will help the state in the long run as the money spent on alcohol will be spent on other useful purposes like edfucation and consumption. This will give a boost to the domestic consumption and overall welfare of the common people of Bihar who are mostly poor.
Now coming to the rich people of Bihar who will anyway get alcohol at premium prices smuggeled from other states or they will move to other states to feed themseves on the drink. These regulars will not have any effect mentally or physically.
