Draupadi was bold and beautiful, unconventional and intelligent.....Many people often point out at how outspoken she was….but the epic Draupadi is a lot more different than what the common public think of her thanks to, renditions like that of BR Chopra. Going strictly, by the epic, her equation with all 5 husbands is unique.....she loved and respected all of them....but yes, she loved Arjun the most. With Yudisthir, it was more like respect which faded away after the Vastraharan, with Bhima it was an absolute dependency because of his passionate nature…with Arjun there was passion n distance….with Nakul n Sahadev, she was more like their caretaker than their wife. Some people relate her to Karna, bcoz of an infamous folktale called the Jambu fruit.....but I have read quite a few translations of the epic, and atleast in the popular versions, there is no such link up.
