deadlines for completion of task are good? or bad??

will you feel free to work if you are not given any deadlines for completion of your tasks??

i some cases there should be deadlines and  in some cases  it will not work because for lazy guy deadlines must and should ............. always deadlines are also depend on the effortness of that persons......
