Trendlines and forecast doubts. why so?
I am using sample superstore data. I have the sales data from the year 2010 to 2013. I have two questions. First, when i draw a trendline and extend by editing axis i am able to see the trendline till that year but how do i obtain the exact sales value for those years. 2. The forecast option is greyed out. How do i get over that? In both the cases, rows- sum(sales) and columns-year(orderdate) and both are chosen as continuous variables.
