we love singing devotional songs... But why aren't people who are singers don't select people who are singing devotional songs in competitions?

Singing in a competition or contenst is very different from doing a performance infront of your regular audience.As à contestants,you have to make sure that you select songs that are well suited to your voice to sing, instead of songs that you may love to listen or sing but may not suit your voice at all!..so how to select songs that will show off your best vocal quality!..if your have that potential that will help you in future....
