The average monthly income of A and B is Rs. 5050. The average monthly income of B and C is Rs. 6250 and the average monthly income of A and C is Rs. 5200. What is the monthly income of A? A. 2000 B. 3000 C. 4000 D. 5000

  Rs. 4000 is the monthly income of A.
  A + B = (5050 x 2) = 10100 .... (i)
  B + C = (6250 x 2) = 12500 .... (ii)
  A + C = (5200 x 2) = 10400 .... (iii)
  Adding (i), (ii) and (iii), we get:  2(A + B + C) = 33000  or   A + B + C = 16500 .... (iv)
  Subtracting (ii) from (iv), we get A = 4000.
