  •  1.Keep Eye Contact while Speaking: Do not look at the evaluators only. Keep eye contact with every team member while speaking.
    2) Initiate the GD: Initiating the GD is a big plus. But keep in mind – Initiate the discussion only when you understood the GD topic clearly and have some knowledge on the topic

  • Group Discussion has become an integral part of getting a job. It is an important part of hiring which is not easy to crack especially for introvert people. But when you have to give it, you have to give it. So here are a few steps for introvert people to crack Group discussion like a pro.
    1.    If you find it hard to speak while others are talking to be the first one to talk and the one to summarize the topic.
    2.    Stay focused and crisp in your views. People would not have the patience to give you time.
    3.    Do not take pauses between sentences. Others would hijack this opportunity.
    4.    Keep taking notes
    5.    Keep paying attention to all the members in the group. Sometimes the panellists look out for listeners in the group too.
    6.    Make a few but strong points which the group can carry forward in the discussion.
    7.    If you find someone contradict your idea, take it politely and don't get anxious or stutter. It's ok for others to disagree with your view. Find out loops to justify your point amicably.
